Scope:
This role works as a Data Center Physical Provisioning, is responsible for managing and tracking of all activity within the current and future-processing environment in the data centers.
This role need to monitors all BAU and projects’ including hardware installs and upgrades, as well as breaks / fixes trouble related activity. It also assures the proper and timely coordination and escalation of all processing problems along with documentation on a daily basis.
This role is responsible for the receipt, placement, and installation of hardware on the processing floor, ensure compliance and enforce all rules and standards, by assuming an active lead role, in the change control process. And manage the site operation team to run a 24x7 shift and ensure DC smooth operation.
This role is also responsible for providing onsite operations and maintenance support services Data Center as Data Center Service Delivery, which is the Data Center Site Management structure responsible for providing timely and cost-effective installation and maintenance services to ASPAC Data Center.
This role is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and re-engineering as applicable, all distributed systems and LAN/WAN infrastructures in the Data Centers. Provides onsite, 7 x 24, second and third level support for the Data Center operations infrastructure. They provide hands-on break/fix support to resolve infrastructure/operations problems escalated from the Global Command Centers and/or System Administrators.
This role is responsible for end-to-end management of all technical requests, hands-on infrastructure support for all Data Center disaster recovery tests and/or situations, which may include reassignment of resources to recovery sites in the ASPAC region.
This roll manages interface to Corporate Reality Service (CRS), coordinates CRS activities within the facility and is ultimately responsible for the management and control of the data center raised floor.

Principal Responsibilities:
The Site Manager takes Technical Analyst roles and responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:
?Scheduling hardware buildup, provide asset and configuration management. Coordinate with vendors on equipment placement within the data center and assist in arranging any logistics. Provision the capacity of infrastructure in Data Center.
?Work with CTI compliance and CCCL OTRM for follow Citi internal as well as local regulator policy/standard and requirement.
?Conduct day to day oversight and monitoring toward the Outsourcing Service Provider (OSP) following the outsourcing oversight program for CNDC, including service level achievement measuring and service delivery outage following-up, etc;
?Support the management of Infrastructure change of CNDC that affect CCCL, to ensure impact assessment, change review / approval, sanity testing etc, all well conducted according to corporate / regulatory policy and standard;
?Communicate the CCCL outsourcing related requirements or China regulation changes of CNDC to the OSP effectively and efficiently;
?Handle internal /external audit and regulator inspection to ensure satisfactory result.
?Provide hands-on, break/fix level 2 support for the data center systems and communications environments.
?Installing/de-installing/relocating all distributed systems and network hardware (CSUs, DSUs, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) in the Data Centers within the internal service level mandates. And manage OEM vendors’ resource support on physical installation.
?Installing/extending/relocating/testing all carrier circuits to the network hardware.
?Installing/de-installing/relocating all patch cabling for systems and network hardware.
?Installing/de-installing/relocating all Data Center hardware.
?Coordinating, and approving data center infrastructure change controls. Oversight supervision on all vendors/visitors working inside the Hardware Centers, and ensure security procedures & guidelines are adhered to at all times.
?Coordination for troubleshooting, maintenance & support for all IT equipment within our Data Center.
?Assist in supporting all disaster recovery/continuity of business tests that affect ones’ site.
?Assist in the coordination of project related activities outside of Business as Usual (BAU) activities.
?Assist with the coordination of cabinet power, circuit, and patch infrastructure installations various facilities, electrical, and communications vendors.
?Assist with coordination of network component configurations.
?Coordinate and Install SAN cabling infrastructure. Managing network ports and assist with all consumable capacities. (Cables, labels, tie wraps, rail kits, etc.)
?Coordinate with CRS to ensure all critical facilities in place is compliance with Citi standards. Design data center facility build up, help CRS make decision on the construction work. Maintaining the integrity of the data center facilities, systems, and communications environments through general housekeeping practices and best operations practices.
?Coordinate with CSIS to ensure all security process and security tools in place, compliance with Citi standards.
?Coordinate with the project delivery, budget exercise, capacity management, incident management and change management of the data center.
?Maintain asset management policies and procedures throughout device lifecycle. Update the monthly corporate fixed asset list. Maintain the cabinet inventory and plan for future installations of cabinets. Maintain current updates to the Aperture (work flow) and inventory systems. Manage and maintain the site-specific inventories as well as the IMS corporate inventories.
?Manage media and hard disk in Data Center which includes tape labeling, tape inventory management, tape movement, virtual tape library management, media and hard disk degaussing.
?Manage CTI-approved third party vendors in support of local/regional business service commitments and to assure adherence to Corporate and CTI standards. Support the day to day oversight and monitoring toward the Outsourcing Service Provider (OSP) following the outsourcing oversight program
?Keep in check for any abnormal events such as fault alarms, fault lights, area tidiness, and take appropriate action or escalate if necessary. Provide clear and detailed turnover to next shift workers for continuity.
?Ensure accurate and concise documentation of inventory is maintained. Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled and bar coded within 24 hours of arrival.
?Performing required compliance activities.
?Produce management reports where necessary.
?Other duties as assigned by management.
?The candidate is also expected to cover shifts, if there is a need to support 24x7 operation
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
?Required skills include a minimum of 5+ years of prior data center operations experience in the implementation, maintenance, and analysis of data center facilities, hardware, and communications infrastructure, strategies, tools and effective troubleshooting techniques.
? A basic background on enterprise data center facilities and infrastructure environments such as PDUs, deep background on network devices, operation systems, prefer on both windows and Linux, and background on storage, cloud and virtualization is preferred. Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi task to manage several priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
?In depth knowledge on complex, corporate-wide, internetworked environments involving a combination of switched/routed/shared Ethernet, SAN, and wide area connectivity. Strong knowledge of WAN technologies (OC-x, DS-x), sub netting and TCP/IP protocol a must.
?Able to locate problem in daily Datacenter operation, and hands-on individual with multiple hardware platform knowledge is required. Enterprise project management skills preferred. Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
?The candidate has to work with different business units in the company, with multiple vendors and with different people across the Asia Pacific region. Knowledge of problem and change management, project management and associated tools. Possess knowledge and experience in data center operation leading a team of operators would be an asset. Experience with ISO standards especially in ISO 14000, 27001 and 9001 would be an advantage.
?A university graduate in a technical discipline or equivalent.
?The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and be comfortable communicating in English. Excellent Communication and Writing skills.
?Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
?Good interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills.
?Able to cover shifts.
