In the H&M Production organization we transform design ideas into actual products. We ensure that we produce safe products for our customers and remain in the forefront of sustainability.

As a Capacity Development Responsible, your focus will be sourcing new suppliers, measurably improve the production efficiency of suppliers, improve the capacity and production planning of suppliers. You will also need to increase suppliers’ capability level and/or develop new capabilities based on business needs.

What will you do?

To keep your work fun and interesting, you will be performing a range of different activities which include:

? Be able to analyse data, reports and processes in order to improve the productivity and profitability of the operation through initiation and implementation of projects that optimize costs, efficiency and quality
? Recommend the best methods of layout, manpower, and material and equipment utilization in production facilities
? Work directly or indirectly with manufacturers in order to improve production efficiency and productivity
? Help manufacturers to reduce cost of production
? Apply industrial tools and techniques to improve productivity and efficiency
? Determine standard minute value to set up production targets and planning
? Undertake problem studies to minimize loss in productivity
? Maintain an efficient management information system

Who will you work with?

In this role you will join a dynamic and energetic team based in Guangzhou. Reporting to the Capacity Assurance Senior, you will interact regularly with our external suppliers, and internal teams such as sourcing, business, sustainability, quality, shipping etc.

Who are you?

At H&M, we value your personal qualities as much as your professional skills. We really want you to join our team if:

? Graduation from any reputed university. Industrial & Textiles Engineering background is preferred
? Garment manufacturer production planning or technical support background
? At least 5 years of experience at a garment manufacturer or experience in an efficiency consultancy firm or senior QC experience.
? You have at least 3 years of experience in a relevant role within a manufacturing environment. If you’ve worked in a garment manufacturing business, it would be even better.
? You are comfortable expressing yourself in English as this is our business language
