Background

Ligentix is the software division of a successful freight forwarding company. With over 60 locations worldwide and many house hold names on its books the business continues to grow year on year. Ligentix software is at the heart of the business which provides its customers with a unique solution for managing their complete end-to-end supply chain processes.

About the Role
We are making changes to the way our teams are structured in order to meet the needs of our new technology strategy and our 5-year vision. That vision will see us focus on the next generation technology and products in a series of exciting new projects.

We are therefore seeking to appoint an Software Tester for the support of provide testing support for the development team. The right person should has the ability to understanding the business requirement through review requirement specification and discussion with BA, design testing plan & cases, then automatic go through all test cases, written English as well as Chinese (mandarin/Cantonese).

Roles and responsibilities

These include are not limited to:
1. Join the elaboration phase for understanding the business requirements with the team, and discuss requirement with BA,
2. Then start design testing plan and test cases with BA & developers, and use business requirement specification to verify / test the worked out testing plan & test case.
3. Shared the testing plan & test cases to the team, and continue update them as required
4. Build / maintain the automation testing platform/tools for the automation testing (against the test cases), need to have skills such as using scripts (VB scripts, Java scripts, batch command, Node.js, etc.), mastering Robot Framework/Selenium, or write execute program for the automation support
5. Provide automatic generated testing report to the team
