Position Summary: Take responsibility to procure new plasma/welding/laser fixtures to support the new launched program internally and promote subcontracted welding assembly supplier to get welding fixtures built consistent with Shape standard.


Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering or related field
3-5 years experience in ME, experience in fixture design/adjustment is preferred.
GD&T knowledge
Auto CAD ability is a must, 3D software skills are preferred
Strong communication and negotiation skill
Results-oriented, strong sense of time to control the fixture timeline
Welding experience or robot manipulation skill is a plus


Duties include but not limited:
Plasma/Welding fixture supplier development - Assess more capable plasma/welding fixture supplier to meet our increasing demands and cultivate suppliers to better know our standards.
Sufficiently consider the poka-yoka, CT, lead time, cost and MRO compatibility for the new fixtures kick-off to support the new launched programs
Conduct the fixture launching procedure (kick-off, design review, pre sign-off, fina sifn off) to get the fixture built within lead time.
Guide/lead subcontracted welding assembly supplier to get welding fixtures built consistent with Shape standard
Manage the fixture at subcontracted supplier side to ensure the welding quality
Plasma/welding fixtures' continuous improvements before final sign-off
Support the program EC with modification on plasma/welding fixture
Other tasks assigned by head of department
