<STRONG>Responsibility:</STRONG>
- Review drawings and proposals to be sent to US counterpart to finalize the products design in terms of materials selection, construction and dimensions…etc.
- Review drawings or rendering, understand the design concept, material and finish, structure, accessories… etc.
- Check the drawings or rendering created by drafters.
- Translate products specs and requirements to factories, helping factories engineering team to identify the requirements when developing its production: translate our drawings to production drawings.
- Visit factories and review samples. Provide technical support and problem solving, assisting factories in samples developing/building
- Inspect, approve and sign off first samples and issue inspection reports.
- Pass the complete set of drawings, signed samples and color samples to QC team, and assist QC team in identifying the requirements
- Update project status weekly.
- Work with Project Management and Sourcing teams to develop the improvement plan for quality and cost.
<STRONG>Requirements:</STRONG>
- Background working with furniture, VC, drains and knows manufacturing processes.
- have international product design experience.
- 3D CAD proficiency – including Solidworks, rendering software such as Rhino.
- General mechanical understanding with the ability to design around standard engineering components and manufacturing requirements.
- Create and review product manufacturing instructions per design specifications.
