Position Overview
The role will assist the Group Director of Consumer Finance in managing numerous teams within Asia. The successful applicant will possess a strong background knowledge of consumer banking and credit skills. Driven individual to bring a systematic approach to overseeing the management of key finance portfolios, administration functions and implementing best practice for Consumer Finance.
Essential Responsibilities
*Assist Group Director of Consumer Finance with the management of Consumer Finance Departments and associated areas within Asia
*Provide leadership and management in the provision of business analysis, operational strategy, financial planning, credit analysis & reporting
*Ability to manage a Payment Gateway and streamline efficiencies to benefit the business
*Identify process improvement opportunities
*Ensure full compliance of Consumer Finance policies and procedures along with ongoing modifications, implementation as per the business needs
*Closely monitor and improve the consumer finance experience for our owners. Manage the life cycle for our owners from contract creation, loan settlement, and receivable management
*Actively pursue strategies to enhance software efficiencies internally and externally Project Management
*Actively work and build synergies between Consumer Finance and Sales teams at Corporate and site level
*Leading and inspiring the teams in developing and documenting best practices in the performance of duties and responsibilities
Qualifications
*Fluent in English and Mandarin
*Strong negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills
*Strong time management, organizational skills and ability to self-manage
*Highly flexible and to be able to work under pressure
*Effective leadership and management skills
*MBA or Master’s degree in Banking, Accounting, Management or similar
*Advanced computer skills in MS Office and the ability to adapt to new software and databases
*Willing to travel
*International background and conversant with managing consumer finance teams
*A strong understanding of lending practices and ability to run multi projects is required
