Technical Capabilities and Background Experience:
? Extensive experience (3 years) managing and delivering on process improvements projects and initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
? Strong proven track record demonstrating ability to manage multiple projects (4-6) simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization skills, delivering on project aims and objectives.
? Ability to work autonomously and in a multi-functional, often multi site team environment.
? Strong communication, analytical skills and problem solving skills.
? Strong commercial acumen.
? Computer literacy is a pre-requisite.
? Screen printing experience would be a distinct advantage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
? Ensure absolute adherence to all quality, environmental, health and safety systems of both a company and regulatory nature in the execution of duties, taking an active part in the development of same if applicable.
? Take a lead role in the investigation, analysis, development and implementation of methodologies, focused on optimizing processes that yield business results across KPI’S such as but not limited to; cycle time reduction, yield improvement, on time delivery and manufacturing cost reduction.
? Apply corrective and preventative actions while delivering innovative solutions to drive best in class manufacturing processes.
? Facilitate the transfer of product and process knowledge throughout the division as appropriate, ensuring continued progress towards global standardisation awhile simultaneously using best practices.
? Assume a lead role in the development of SOP’s as appropriate.
? Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross divisional process improvement initiatives.
? Provide direction to the business unit and senior management on technology development and application within the manufacturing process.
? Participate in FMEA and other activities associated with product evolution, product transfers, standardization and launches.
? Provide support to management on capital acquisition activity from the perspective of specifying equipment, installation and validation.
? Provide technical support in the rollout of NPI’S. Map and track validation, risk management and change management activities for compliant and timely delivery. Support and perform quality reviews of project deliverables.
? Participate and regularly lead in terms of project management, ensuring accurate planning, timely delivery and reporting for all deliverables, primarily the achievement of milestones and operating within budget parameters.
? Participate in risk assessments, Kaisen initiatives and 5S implementation.
? Assist in the provision to the R&D function, technical guidance or assessment in the design, development and manufacturing / production disciplines from a product engineering perspective to facilitate design for manufacturing, while simultaneously embracing the requirement to gain a competitive edge through sustainable differentiation from point of conception to commercialization.
? Actively participate in the new product development process with respect to intellectual properties / patent processes when applicable to deliver value to the business.
? Liaise with vendors on materials, product and equipment performance, evolution and standardization. 举报 分享
