General Description
This position is responsible for transportation business and market development activities in the field of national transportation in South China.

Specific Accountabilities
? Work with existing and potential clients in generating and concluding transportation business opportunities. Overall objective of developing robust business development proposals from inception to implementation with the aim of providing quality and innovative transportation solutions against prescribed deadlines
? Management and co-ordination of end-to-end business development process:
o Customer interface with the aim to build good customer/corporate relationships
o Solution development
o Pricing / commercial analysis
o Proposal generation
? Identification of potential customers and building relationships through proactive & reactive business proposals
? Support segment specific market analysis in China transportation industry. Solution development and deployment in identified opportunity sectors
? Support joint calls and customer visits with Sales, management personnel, as well as overseas counterparts.
? Project implementation and management.
? Perform any special duties or projects as assigned by the management.

Skills Required
? Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
? Excellent interpersonal skills.
? Excellent process analytical skills.
? Good understanding of China logistics industry trends with specific emphasis on transportation concepts.
? Mature, resourceful, self-driven and high degree of professional integrity
? Ability to work effectively in a customer driven deadline environment
? Some exposure to financial modeling techniques would be an advantage

Experience and Qualifications
? Bachelors degree or above
? Minimum 5 years selling experience in China logistics/transportation industry
? Experience in project management as well as leadership will be a plus.
