Job Responsibilities:

● Manage China social media communities on key platforms, i.e. WeChat and Weibo – from planning, execution and optimization – to maximize brand value and drive business impact

● Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business

● Proofread, copy edit and write social media content that is engaging to our customer base and still comply with branding guidelines

● Develops and executes aggressive social media campaigns at the corporate level for Chinese social media channels to drive fan acquisition and maximize engagement

● Manage third party agencies for campaign delivery, ensuring quality and timely deliverables

● Have an attention to detail from campaign execution & measurement to managing the process (budgets, payment, workflow)

● Works with corporate PR team to manage blogger outreach to build an active key opinion leaders network to drive brand advocacy

● Works with the corporate digital marketing team to ensure that the social media channel is appropriately engaged for corporate advertising activities

● Identify digital media technology and social network marketing trends in China and how they can improve brand favorability, improve consumer experience and company’s investment on social media and content marketing

Requirements:

● Chinese national with good spoken and written English

● Minimum 2 years of digital and social media experience in global PR firms or 4A specialized social media agencies

● Live and breathe in China social media (active on at least 2 social media platforms, e.g. Weibo & WeChat)

● Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of communications to analytical side to be able to demonstrate ideas are analytically sound

● Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective user behaviors and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

● Is a Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees, when necessary, on content development, campaign ideation, and online reputation management

● Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

● Strong organizational, time management, communication, process & result oriented and possess problem-Solving skills working with multiple teams/agencies/vendors

● Bachelor or above of Arts / Literature in top universities (e.g. Advertising, Chinese Literature, or Consumer Psychology)
