Essential Job Tasks:

Production

1. Ensure that all products are scheduled and tested according to documented protocols.

2. Work closely with Client Services team (in the U.S.A. and China) to define customer test requests.

3. Maintain consistent focus on quality, consistently and efficiency.

4. Develop and implement processes and methods related to production activities.

5. Work closely with Chemical Laboratory (U.S.A. and/or China) to coordinate analysis of air samples.

Quality and Equipment Management

1. Review/revise documentation as required by quality programs.

2. Work closely with Quality Team to ensure laboratory complies with quality programs and associated audits.

3. Implement and maintain calibration and validation system for environmental chamber performance evaluations.

4. Execute preventative maintenance program for mechanical systems.

5. Troubleshoot mechanical systems in times of failure.

PE Laboratory Training

1. Assist in employee training for all production, calibration, validation, and maintenance methods.

2. Assist with the implementation of a safety awareness program and training for the PE Laboratory.

3. Maintain and assist with implementation of a PE Specialist (including Sample Control functions) training program to meet job performance competency requirements.

Skills/Aptitude:

1. Well organized with attention to detail

2. Bilingual Mandarin-English

3. Hands on mechanical aptitude

4. Ability to efficiently use time to complete required tasks

5. Working knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft operating system, and Microsoft office products

Required Experience:

1. Familiarity with test equipment

2. Experience in the environmental field preferred

Education:

1. Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field with mathematical competency preferred

Working Conditions

1. Office and indoor laboratory environment

2. Flexible 40 to 50 hour work week, 5 days a week, with weekend hours required

3. Occasional heavy lifting required - must be able to lift 75 lb(equals 34 KG)
