The .NET Architect role focuses on designing complex application architectures to solve business problems. The primary focus is on NeoPhotonics enterprise frameworks and re-usable components. The ideal candidate will thrive in seeking challenging problems, proposing and presenting solutions, building relationships, soliciting feedback, and finding ways to improve NeoPhotonics applications.




Roles and Responsibilities: (Including major work content)

· Designing components, services, patterns and practices;

· Identifying and developing innovative solutions that enable business strategies and that are highly scalable and performing;

· Acting as steward for NeoPhotonics application framework components that drive consistency, quality, compliance with technical strategies, and developer productivity;

· Identifying, evaluating, and driving the adoption of new products and product versions;

· Researching options, conducting proof-of-concepts, and making recommendations;

· Identifying and/or designing tooling and patterns that simplify and accelerate the development process, promote governance, and reduce risk;

· Providing consulting and review services to other architects and development teams.




Job Qualifications:

·Education or professional qualification

· Bachelor or above




·Working Experience

· 10+ years technical experience in architecture and object oriented design; 4+ years experience in SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, deploy) or similar;

· At least seven years hands-on experience with the .NET platform designing/developing large-scale enterprise applications: ASP.NET, WCF, C#, web services, ADO.NET, XML;

· Extensive Presentation Layer (UI) expertise, including at least 4 years experience as an Architect;




·Skill requirement (soft skills and technical skills)



· Experience developing enterprise frameworks and re-usable components;

· Specialized focus on presentation layer technologies including custom server-side and client-side controls, Ajax, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Microsoft Ajax Control toolkit;

· Web development industry standards and best practices Internet Explorer Browser expertise;

· Strong knowledge of design patterns;

· Automated testing patterns and tools;

· Tuning & testing for performance, scalability, availability, and resiliency for .NET applications;

· IIS 7.0 and Windows Server 2008;

· Team Foundation Server (TFS);

· Modeling tools & UML 2.0

· Service oriented architecture with enterprise service bus technologies (for example, TIBCO);

· Databases: SQL Server, MySQL;

· Code analysis rules;

· Code generation
