- Technology Platforms: HMPSA, Solvent-based adhesives, PU/SMP Sealants, others…
ACTIVITIES（工作行为，主要指日常的，具有代表性的工作行为）
- Application Development: Work with the sales engineer to identify the new application opportunities in automotive or other transportation industries and develop the technical solutions with R&D team.
- Laboratory Support: Capable of working independently at the bench with a variety of technologies (HMPSA, SBA, Sealants) in a safe manner. Expected to perform application testing/evaluations to support customer trials and resolve customer issues.
- Sales Support: Provide technical instructions such as product recommendations and field trials to new automotive customers and help the sales team to set up contact with them.
- Technical Support: Visit key automotive customers and distributors routinely to understand their requirements and provide them timely technical supports.
- Auto Industry Product and Application Training: Provide technical training to internal sales team and external customers to improve their knowledge of our complete product range and improve their troubleshooting capabilities.
- Customer Complaint Resolution: Work with customer service, sales, R&D, and QA to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Provide detailed technical reports of customer trials/visits and laboratory trials/testing. Provide monthly summaries of TS work to line manager and business manager. Proactively work to coordinate technical issues with global expert teams.
- System and Procedures: Comply 100% with EHS and Quality management system policies and requirements. Must maintain good laboratory housekeeping and safety.
- Analytical Analysis: Collaborate with Analytical group to resolve customer issues with adhesive and/or end application production.
- Other: Follow up Company HSEQ policy and procedure and timely report out if have any concerns about HSEQ
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT（工作内容及环境，包括是否需要国内/外出差、内部及外部主要联系人等）
- The position requires frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel. Travel level of 60% is expected.
- Close customer contact is needed to support sales team on business development, through customer visit, trial, training, etc…
ACCOUNTABILITIES（主要职责，指职位本身所需要承担的责任或义务）
- Ensure the daily activities in compliance with EHS and operational requirements.
- Provide professional technical service and application development support to sales and customers through fulfilment of their needs for products and solving their problems.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED（能力/经验要求，此岗位具体的学历、经验及各项能力要求）
- Minimum of BS degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years technical related experience in Transportation industry. Automotive experience preferred.
- Polymer background/knowledge a plus
- Results-oriented, aggressive but a team player.
- Open-minded, creative and innovative.
- Outstanding interpersonal & communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
