?Responsible for the IT support service delivery to meet business requirement
?Being the conduit for communication between IT support, end users and the customer
?Monitoring support resources availability and effectiveness.
?Supporting the operation of effective support processes through the provision of business context and/or technical knowledge.
?Gathering business feedback, and providing technical advice on business requirements
?Predicting business volumes to inform capacity and disaster recovery planning
?Perform operational reviews to identify and implement efficiencies and better ways of delivering IT support
?Acting as Major Incident Manager / Incident Manager, and as Change Manager in CAB
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required:
?University Degree or equivalent (Software Engineering or Computer Science preferably);
?Track record in IT management role within complex IT environments leading a team
?Experienced working with support teams across multiple sites, geographies, countries and time zones.
?Preferably has worked on large delivery programme within a global organisation.
?Track record leading applications support functions
?Ability to create excellent working relationships with IT support and non IT business users
?Awareness of business and IT strategies
?High level of communication skills to present, inform and persuade internal and external customers;
?Fluency in spoken and written English is required;
?Soft-skills will be highly valued.
?Availability to work in shifts, if required;
?Availability for on-call 24x7 support, if required
