Overview
======
This individual will be responsible for process / manufacturing engineering activities in support of new product launches and mass production. Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with a variety of people in a wide range of functional areas is mandatory. Excellent technical background with some knowledge of mechanical parts design including jigs & fixture and gages is desirable. Working knowledge of the assembly processes required for speaker, electromechanical systems, electronics, and audio is preferred. Good working knowledge of quality systems and processes, along with familiarity with QS9000 Quality Systems is desirable.

Responsibilities
=============
Responsible for all production equipment
Maintain and repair all production equipment
Make manuals for all production equipment for using, setting up, and maintenance
Work with engineering to design production fixtures and gauges
Give input to engineering for WIs and MSPs
Initiate PFMEA and update during the pilot and pre-production builds
Analyze process/product failures for process improvement
Regularly conduct low yield product failure analysis to identify root cause and identify solution to improve yield and quality


Education and Experience
=====================
Relevant education in mechanical engineering
1-3 years of relevant experience in production engineering
Good common mechanical understanding is required
Prior experience working with pneumatic systems and machines is a must
Prior experience working with gluing or glue dispensers is a BIG ADVANTAGE
Good English skills verbally and in writing
