We are now seeking to recruit an Anti-counterfeiting Investigation Manager for our Greater China region, base in Guangzhou or Shanghai. The successful incumbent is responsible for leading and conducting intelligence led investigation of high value targets, to enforce UL's zero tolerance policy against person / organizations that are involved in the manufacture.

Job Responsibilities:
· To identify and conduct analysis of intelligence and evidence dealing with the counterfeiting of any of the UL family of Marks;
· To directly manage intelligence-led investigations, enforcement actions and the performance of external contracted security / private investigation firms;
· Working with management, legal team, law enforcement authorities and / or government prosecutors in the region to obtain adequate evidence and producing investigative reports to support criminal and / or civil actions;
· To provide affidavits, victim impact statements and / or testimony in court proceedings as needed;
· Work closely with international police and Customs authorities as required, including conducting anti-counterfeiting awareness and UL Mark identification training;
· Partners with law enforcement agencies, customs officials, regulators and government agencies, industry organizations, and other rights holders to present UL's interests and to promote UL's zero tolerance policy against counterfeiters;
· Efficiently utilizes and evaluate UL's internal system, procedures; makes recommendations for improvements to UL's Anti-Counterfeiting Program based on industry best practices and experience.

Job Requirements:
· Degree holder with over five years' Intellectual Property crime investigations experiences in the Greater China region such as research, intelligence analysis, formulating and executing investigative and enforcement actions, review and preparation of investigative reports;
· A minimum of two years' experience with trademark counterfeiting and working within an anti-counterfeiting unit;
· Strong working knowledge of law enforcement and Customs procedures as well as other relevant IP laws and regulations in Greater China region;
· Legal background, and network of contacts in relevant governmental authorities an advantage;
· Track record of working and managing private investigation agencies;
· Excellent communication skills with good proficiency in Putonghua, written and spoken English;
· A self-starter with strong presentation skills who works well independently as well as in a team environment;
· Proven ability to coordinate complex IP crime investigations with law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies;
· Demonstrated ability to make sound and timely decisions;
· Frequent traveling required.
