PD and Operations Leader – Home Security Products
5 Horizons, a global products firm is soliciting resumes for the position of PD and Operations Leader – Home Security Products.

The PD and Operations Leader – Home Security Products will report to the Managing Partners of the Company and will be responsible for the following core responsibilities:

? Lead the organization in support of the Company’s strategic partnership with a leading American home security products brand.
? Direct a multi-office/site (Shenzhen, Hong Kong) quality control and quality engineering team (QE).
? Lead the organization in the development of best practices.
? Work closely with key U.S. clientele within product design, development, sourcing, planning, quality control, accounting and logistics.
? Execute the Company’s product and strategic objectives.
? Enhance Company’s existing vendor base in China, and continually provide a strategic plan for vendor expansion, in line with the Brand’s plan for product line expansion.
? Ensure that the Company is continuously aligned with the best vendors in the world.
? Share the Company’s entrepreneurial spirit and core values (People, Quality, Partners, Innovation)
Desired Skills and Experience
? Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in connected (WiFi, RF, Z-Wave, BLE, etc.) consumer electronics. Experience with IP Cameras and 360 Action Cameras is highly desirable.
? Experience with interconnected “Smart Home” devices such as Smoke, Gas, Vibration, Temperature, Humidity Sensors is a plus.
? Successful track record working with a US or European consumer electronics organizations, and operating effectively in Asia.
? 3+ years of experience managing QE and QC teams, and an extensive understanding of IQC, PQC, and AQL process and reporting is required.
? Familiarity with International and American electronic compliance standards (CE, RoHS, FCC, WEEE, UL, ETL) is highly desirable.
? Experience with social compliance auditing standards, American retailer auditing programs (Walmart, Target, Sears, BestBuy, Home Depot) and CTPAT Anti-Terrorism Reporting requirements is a plus.
? Demonstrated evidence of multi-step sourcing methodology to achieve cost-downs and product development objectives
? Leadership to supervise capable employees who are displaced across multiple country and regions.
? Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, cost engineering, product development, and data management processes.
