Job Description:
The Planner / Exec interacts with publishers / vendors and all levels of staff across assigned accounts and is responsible for ensuring briefs are executed on-time and on-quality with vendors and suppliers. Planners contribute to the formulation of digital plans and presentations to ensure clients objectives and deliverables are met and works extensively with internal account groups to manage the execution and reporting / monitoring of digital campaigns.
Responsibilities Include:
* Working with core planning teams (offline & online media) to devise an integrated media strategy given the clients brief and the online media plan to support it
* Organize and negotiate proposed elements from publishers
* Gather and prepare all insertion orders for client campaigns
* Collate and Prepare media plans for clients
* Implementing and maintaining and performing optimization efforts for online media campaigns
* Participate in regular media meetings with clients and providing insight into weekly and monthly online media results
* Maintaining and growing relationships with interactive media advertising representatives
* Working with the members of the media team in daily media responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Maintaining and implementing ad tagging on network of sites
- Organizing creative specifications for media placements
- Ensuring all advertising is sent to the correct publisher
- Monitoring creative units to make sure they are running correctly
- Troubleshooting ad delivery and ad performance
- Managing the scheduling, posting, tracking advertising and compiling weekly performance reports, as necessary
- Maintaining knowledge of select ad serving tools (Doubleclick, Eyeblaster), analytics tool (Google Analytics, Omniture), and search engines marketing technology (Google & Baidu paid search tools).
Skills / Qualifications:
About 1 year of experience, preferably in online media planning, search marketing or related interactive marketing experience (more experienced candidates may be considered as a senior planner)
o Passionate about digital media
o Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing or related program
o Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Mandarin
o Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail
o Knowledge of interactive marketing concepts and practices as well as a familiarity with offline media concepts
o Strong analytical thinking
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience with 3rd Party Ad Serving, Analytics tools and search engines tools
