Primary Responsibilities
Product Engineering is a technical expert who provides all necessary support across all the product development and mass production processes.
She/he ensures that all products are fully quality checked, inspected according to Sixpenny standards, technical specification and master samples.
Additionally, the PE role is also to ensure that all products fit for purpose and in line with the legislation of countries where goods will be sold.

? Check, sign off all master samples and proactively provide guidance to Quality team regarding all current and/or potential Quality issues.

? Ensure that each products under your responsibility fit for purpose and reach Sixpenny Quality standards by collecting relevant test reports from third party testing laboratory, conducting In house tests on site and recording all Quality information through technical documentation (product briefs, specs and test reports,etc.).

? Ensure that all products are produced to comply with the legislation of the countries where goods will be sold.

? Suggest, adjust and update inspection plan and schedule based on risk assessment and Manufacturing defect report.

? Regularly conduct factory visits to ensure that all active suppliers maintain the agreed inspection plan and quality level. Suggest relevant action plans to improve factory Quality Management System (QMS).

? Conduct Factory Quality Audits and risk assessment for all new potential suppliers and provide a strong, proactive support to new vendors for fully complying with our standards before starting mass production.

? Ensure that product packaging is optimized from a quality, standard and cost perspective.

? Undertake specific projects requested by Quality Manager and in conjunction with Merchandising / Product development team that will provide long term benefit to the business.

? Ensure clear communication within the team through regular updates and by providing accurate reports on time.

? Support Product Quality Inspectors (PQI) in conducting inspections when needed.

? Manage and develop QC abilities by providing regular training on site and sharing all your technical expertise. 举报 分享
