Position Title: Chief Design Engineer Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Summary: Working with Sales and Marketing Manager, this position would focus on product development and improvement and market research. The Design Engineer would work with multiple resources to develop new ideas and products, improve existing product lines, and support customer requests. Duties also include working with Marketing Specialists to research and define market trends and understand “customer voices”.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Job Requirements:
a) Coordinates and manages new product introductions, from concept to product
b) Continuous review existing product lines and initiate refinement and improvement
c) Continuous product quality improvement and reduction of the actual production cost
d) Work with marketing and sales on new market opportunity scouting and feasibility studies
e) New technologies scouting and feasibility studies
f) Actively convert studies and data into design briefs and concepts
g) Mechanical and /or electro-mechanical design including pre-clarification of manufacturability and identification of suitable manufacturing processes
h) Interact with vendors and other outside resources to increase efficiency and explore new potentials
i) Provide product and engineer support for global initiatives
j) Creation and tracking of project documentation and specification
k) Support customer request related to products and technical support
l) Flexibility to travel to production facility to evaluate process
m) Flexibility to travel with sales team to meet with customers directly

Skills/Experience Required:
a) Strong experiences in industrial design and project management
b) Proficient in 3D CAD system, ideally ProE Creo, Catia
c) Strong experiences in product development and refinement
d) Customer interaction and communication skills
e) Product manufacturing experience
f) Ability to read and write fluently in Chinese and English, Cantonese is a plus
g) Previous work portfolio is a plus

Education Requirements:
a) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related area

k) 提供针对客户方面的产品与技术支持
l) 可出差至生产工厂以支持工作
m) 可与销售团队出差至客户方以支持工作

技能/经验:
a) 工业设计及项目管理的丰富经验
b) 熟练使用3D CAD系统, 例如ProE Creo, Catia
c) 产品研发与提升上的丰富经验
d) 可与客户流畅沟通
e) 产品生产经验
f) 能流利阅读并书写中英语, 粤语为加分项
g) 鼓励应聘者提供过往作品展示

学历要求:
a) 学士学历, 工业设计, 工程, 或其它相关专业
