Job overview
The Business Development Associate will work as a key member of the FQ CN sales team with a specific focus on mobile strategy and research, supporting the Business Development Manager and actively prospecting and selling to clients. The right candidate will come from a sales background and have a proven track record selling to large global businesses. He or she will need to have an understanding of the digital marketing landscape (including mobile and social), the key players in the industry and a grasp of the major trends. They will be required to work closely with the Creative Strategy and Development divisions to understand the products and process and provide input on features and developments.
A genuine self-starter the Business Development Associate will be expected to proactively research and approach key prospects in the market generating new business across a range of sectors. The successful candidate must have a sound appreciation of the business development process and be confident presenting to large corporates. Similarly they must be capable and have a desire to prepare and generate presentation materials for meetings using their own initiative.
Specific requirements of the role
? Become an expert in the market and gain a thorough understanding of FabriQate
? Conduct thorough research to identify primary and secondary prospects, competitors, build a picture
? Build a strong relationship with the Creative Strategy and Development divisions to champion company procedures and improve sales materials
? Continually research the industry to remain in a position to advise the Business Development Manager and report to the FabriQate management team on trends and developments

It is vital that they will also have the proven experience and passion to build a strong knowledge of mobile technology and platforms and products we sell.
Key skills and experience
? Minimum two years' experience in a sales role (this is not an entry level position, experience required)
? Business planning and forecasting
? Lead generation and proven sales skills
? High level presentation skills
? Knowledge and passion of the mobile industry and core technologies, social media trends and how these relate to customer marketing
? MS Office, particularly Excel and PPT
? People skills, some account management experience desirable
? Strong written and numeracy skills
Position carries: Salary + Bonus and path to senior management roles
