SG China IT Department - IT Projects & Development
Job Summary / Job Purpose
? Manage multiple IT projects or large scale program for the bank.
? Coach & guide junior team members
? Drive innovation within the organization
Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks
Projects / Program Delivery
? Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
? Define project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Develop a vision of final product or deliverables.
? Build a detailed project plan & evaluate the progress of project on regular basis

? Identify all the internal and external resources whether financial or human resources required completing the project successfully.
? Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

? Develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy for ensuring communication with all levels of management within the team
? Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
? Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

? Perform risk management to minimize project risks, report and escalate to management as needed
? Manage risks/dependencies across multiple projects

Coaching & Leadership
? Provide coaching and guidance to other team members about different aspects of the project management and help them to manage their projects effectively & efficiently.
? Assist the line manager to supervise the key projects if needed.

Innovation
? Follow-up the latest strategies, approaches used for project deliveries (i.e. PMP vs. Agile) and adopt them for relevant projects to increase the productivity & bring more value to the clients.
? Follow-up the latest technologies trends, bring innovative ideas and implement them through the projects.

Candidate Profile
Academic Background (degree and major) ： Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, Information technology, finance
Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how ： 8 to 10+ years experience in major Banks, Financial Institutions or consulting company (on banking sector), with strong IT Project Management background.
Skills & Competencies ：
? Capacity of handling large and complex projects
? Capacity of working effectively in a multinational environment.
? Strong Leadership skills
? Strong analytical and problem solving skills

? Knowledge of banking business and processes. (Retail, Corporate and Investment Banking)
? Ability to understand the needs of the end users in banking context
? Ability to understand & contribute to organization’s strategy and priorities/

? Strong team work spirit is a MUST
? Good communication and interpersonal skills is required.

Language Skills ：
? Fluent in English and Mandarin, documentation and deliverables to be drafted both in English or Chinese.
