POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Specialist is responsible for supporting the provision of quality rehabilitative care in their designated area of GRS Health Services. The Clinical Specialist promotes consistent and efficient evidence-based practice in patient identification, comprehensive assessment using standardized tests and/or objective measures, and patient-centered intervention in order to achieve targeted clinical outcomes. The Clinical Specialist serves as a clinical expert in their respective discipline and specialty practice areas. The Clinical Specialist coordinates both discipline specific and interdisciplinary training and resources. The Clinical Specialist is responsible for the monitoring and facilitation of clinical service delivery, programs and initiatives with the rehabilitation department, including but not limited to, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and TCM rehab.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Influences clinical practice of the region/organization through the ability to motivate others, positive role modeling, and providing leadership to achieve company goals.
2. Provides assessment, analysis and related plan for improvement for the state of clinical practice at large.
3. Supports evidence-based practice and best practice guidelines and implements appropriate tools and resources to enhance and improve care delivery.
4. Identifies clinical growth opportunities and establishes an education plan including access to educational resources, including but not limited to GRS Academy/Relias courses.
5. Completes root cause analysis in focus centers in collaboration with Clinical Operations Area Director and creates a strategic education plan, implementation plan and clinical quality improvement plan for the center.
6. Participates in the development, implementation, and follow-up of quality improvement programs to monitor the quality and effectiveness of clinical programs and systems.
7. Assists in the identification and development of specific skill-set needs based on patient population and site programming.
8. Strategically identifies effective modes of delivery for education, leveraging resources effectively and responsibly.
9. Provides education within the region/organization and strategically identifies and develops qualified individuals within the region who demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and the desire to educate others.
10. Acts as a clinical resource and content expert in the development of regional and corporate
education and initiatives, including but not limited to, interpretation and application of clinical outcomes, clinical operations systems and processes, care delivery model design and implementation.
11. Acts as a clinical resource and expert on discipline specific standards of practice and codes of ethics which may include clinical specialization, advanced clinical teaching and training, and mentoring.
12. Acts as a clinical resource and content expert respective to identified specialty practice areas as it relates to interdisciplinary roles, and is able to access interdisciplinary resources.
13. Provides clinical oversight as directed by the Clinical Operations Area Director in the development of individualized professional growth plans in specialized clinical areas to advance clinical growth in the region.
14. Performs documentation and quality audits designed to impact clinical service delivery.
15. Participates in collaborative clinical quality improvement initiatives with internal and external customers as needed.
16. Participates strategically in customer meetings and activities, with a focus on differentiating GRS Health Services as a clinical leader.
17. Demonstrates clinical expertise in their own discipline as well as expertise within an interdisciplinary care delivery model.
18. Provides discipline-specific patient care with the intent to model effective assessment and treatment, manage a difficult case or population, facilitate clinical reasoning of clinicians, and in emergency situations to address an unmet patient need.
19. Contributes to an environment that is respectful, team-oriented, and responsive to the concerns of patients, employees and families.
20. Promotes a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
21. Maintains confidentiality and protects Protected Health Information at all times.
22. Ensures compliance with company policies, standards and processes, and local/central government regulations.
23. Puts patient service first: ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a hospitable, caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the patients needs, goals, and desires.
24. Performs other related duties as required.

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Clinical Specialist must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited rehabilitation program for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language Pathology.
2. He/she must be able to practice in the Province and district of the People’s Republic of China.
3. He/she must also have a minimum of three years direct patient care experience and one year of managerial and/or supervisory experience.
4. Working experiences in America/Britain/Australia is preferred
5.Native English speaker is MUST
