Position Summary:
The IT Business Analyst plays a critical role among key process owners and users, and IT function, to support new system implementation and on-going change request process. He/She will validate legitimacy of process change requirement and assist in the solution formation tasks by providing detailed description of new processes and system functionalities, and ensure the consistence between user requirement and delivered outcome.
Additionally, this role is also engaged in various IT projects and serve as a part-time project management supporting role to designated PMs assigned.
Responsibility/Accountability:
1) Defining system purposes, functionalities and features based on GRS-HS IT strategy and system portfolio, and key process owners’ requirements.
2) Rationalizing new requests and preparing support documents, such as project proposal, timeline, budget, etc., for management review and approval process.
3) Engaging with development team to develop user requirement, functional specification, user acceptance criteria, testing scripts, etc.
4) Continuously surveying key users and process owners’ opinions and rationalizing improvement request throughout the entire life cycle.
5) Representing GRS-HS IT in all IT project management regular meetings and assisting relevant PMs to produce project status reports timely. Escalate issues and challenges to GRS-HS management as necessary.
6) Providing necessary system trainings to users as necessary. Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of system technical documentations and operational manuals.
7) Assisting IT management to perform solution screening and vendor selection processes by providing comparison research and analysis reports.
Specific Educational/Vocational Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years of information technology working experience and MNC background preferred.
2. University degree or equivalent experience in technical support environment
3. 3+ years business process analysis experience is a MUST. PMP certificate preferred but not required.
4. Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.
Job Skills:
1. Fluent English, both writing and speaking
2. Proven technical documentation skill required.
3. Positive working attitude with an ability to multitask
4. Pleasant personality and able to communicate effectively with users particularly management level staffs; capable of driving consensus among users for goal alignment
5. Good knowledge about software development tools and platforms
6. Understanding of SDLC and project implementation methodology
7. Understanding of system architecture and security management fundamentals
8. Good vendor management skills.
9. Microsoft operating systems and Office 365
10. Project management skill and experience
11. Must be a highly responsible individual capable of working independently
12. Good Documentation and end user training skills.
