Within HSBC Operations, Services and Technology, Global Software Delivery enables HSBC to remain at the leading edge in the development and delivery of high-quality, customised banking systems. The division provides tailored, cost-competitive and robust banking solutions and services that offer a flexible and scalable framework for delivering projects on time, within budget and at the highest quality, meeting both the current and future IT challenges facing the Group.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this dedicated team in the role of Finance Assistant.
Job description
Tax Related
? To assist Tax Manager to prepare and complete all direct and indirect tax documents for internal review and to submit the reviewed documents to the relevant tax authorities. This includes Tax Recourse Reports, the monthly VAT and surtax report, quarterly and annual CIT return, annual papers, Tax Bureau invoices and the Tax Assessment Report. To liaise with the various Chinese authorities with respect to these issues.
? To prepare tax clearance applications to enable corporate tax relief. To liaise with Local and State Tax Bureaus to ensure tax clearances are obtained.
? To work with the Tax Manager and departments in HSDC, Compliance and HR to provide tax support on key issues. The candidate should also be able to respond promptly to day-to-day tax issues.
Accounting Related
? To responsible for daily accounting operation such as accounting entry, cash position, foreign income declaration, month end closing, etc.
? To responsible for accounting control such as account reconciliation, accounting record management
? To prepare regular internal and external report such as financial statement, statistic report, audit report, etc.
