Assistant EHS Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1) Set up PSM KPI and improvement plan for panyu site align with PSM vision and strategy.
2) Develop and maintain PSM procedures, mainly including Process Safety Information, Management of Change, Hazard Analysis, Mechanical Integrity and EHS in Project Process, to comply with Huntsman EHS Standards, regulatory and statutory requirements.
3) Works closely with operational personnel on the implementation of PSM program and assure compliance.
4) Work with Corporate PSM team to develop local PSM practice.
5) Identify EHS training needs in PSM for site personnel and maintain the training programs to meet business requirements.
6) Implement risk assessment and hazard study programs to prevent hazardous conditions or environments. Provide support and assistance to line and staff management to improve performance.
7) Implement self-audit Program to ensure conformance with Company standards and local regulations.
8) Work with Plant Service team in maintenance and inspection program for mechanical, electrical, instrumental and civil integrity.
9) Assist EHS Manager on other EHS issues as following:
- EHS audit for suppliers
- Emergency response
- EHS introduction for Customer visit

Key Requirements:
1) Bachelor degree or above, preferably with major in Chemical Engineering or a suitable Science.
2) Working in a manufacturing facility with at least 5 years experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and/or Engineering functions, preferably with implementation experience in Process Safety Management program in chemical plant.
3) Basic understanding of local laws and regulations, also the regulatory process and agencies that formulate and enforce them.
4) Familiar with processes of auditing, risk assessment, hazard study, management of change, system of work and equipment integrity. Hold qualification of at least one PSM discipline, e.g. Hazard Study Leader, PSM Auditor, Layer of Protection Analysis.
5) Good documentation capability, plus organizing and planning skills.
6) Good skill in Microsoft applications of Words, Excel and Power point.
7) Fluent in Mandarin and good English language both in words and writing.
8) Good interpersonal, communicative skills to work with plant personnel from senior to junior level.
