Job profile

Reporting to the Head of HR for APMEA, you will partner closely her/him and with other HR teams and subject matter experts to develop and deliver company-wide integrated people and organization solutions, e.g., workforce and succession planning, leadership development, reward and recognition, etc.
As Senior HRBP for your own cluster, you will operate as a trusted advisor and partner to functional executives and their management teams functioning as the guide on people and organizational issues. You will be responsible for partnering with business segment leaders to deploy strategic planning objectives to build a dynamic organization that delivers significant and sustainable growth. Advise and coach business leaders on matters related to employee engagement, talent management and development, including competency requirements, workforce planning, leadership selection, executive coaching, leadership development, performance management, retention, succession planning, compliance program, grievance handling etc. and ensure that local activities are aligned to the global HR strategy.
You will also play a key strategic role in the facilitation of organizational change in all aspects from planning, communication and execution.

Reporting and key relationships:
Reports to: Head of HR, APMEA
Key relationships are with: Sales, Sourcing and Operations leaders in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea; Global HRLT, Total Rewards COE and Finance

Key activities:
? Understand and proactively address the HR needs of the business area, maintaining strategic alignment between the business and HR.
? Act as a liaison for the aligned business area across the functional areas of HR, including culture and inclusion, workforce strategy and planning, workforce analytics, organizational effectiveness, employment branding and recruiting, training, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, total rewards, and employee relations and compliance.
? Advocate for the HR agenda with senior business leaders. Align the business with global HR policies and programs. Communicate the rationale for current policies and programs and convey changes as they occur.
? Act as a steward of culture and inclusion within the business, with a focus on providing guidance on strategies and approaches to keep employees engaged.
? Coordinate with the L&D/Talent Management, Total Rewards and HRIT CoE and the business area to define specific action plans to achieve the workforce strategy. Articulate the capabilities, resources and actions needed to close talent gaps or optimize the workforce. Understand talent acquisition and development strategies and partner with Talent Acquisition Partner and the Talent Management CoE to ensure HR programs are supportive of these strategies.
? Collaborate with the business area and L&D/Talent Management CoE to establish programs to manage talent development. Provide guidance on how to manage the talent review process and identify high-potential crew for targeted development opportunities.
? Partner with business leadership and Total Rewards CoE to develop a tailored overall rewards strategy, taking into account business strategy and needs. Support business leaders by communicating the total rewards philosophy, strategy and value. Work with business leadership to implement decisions and programs created by CoE.
? Address employee complaints / issues of the respective business areas supported and report back to HR and business leadership on findings.
? Contributes to evaluation of senior client touchpoints across HR for various engagement types to facilitate smooth service delivery.
? Provide business input and feedback to HRLT through the CoEs, and Head of HRBPs to improve the effectiveness and relevance of HR policies, programs and services. Contribute to the prioritization of HR support for business initiatives.
? Oversee HR team members, as required, on engagements that require additional support. Contribute to their professional development and provide coaching and performance management feedback as appropriate.
? Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills and experience
Essential knowledge and experience:
? Minimum of 3 years of strategic HR Advisory/Business Partnering experience in an international company;
? Previous HR Generalist experience with a good mastery of HR operations is a requirement;
? Bachelors or Master’s Degree;
? Knowledge of Chinese Language – native proficiency for spoken, reading and writing
? Possess strong influencing and social skills, honed in a demanding and high performing work environment.
? Have a data-driven mindset to assess organizational metrics and provide insights to the business
? Very good expertise on excel and related data tools.

? Validated ability to operate strategically and have a hands-on approach.
? Excellent communication skills and ability to flex own communication style;
? Proven track record of developing strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders;
? Ability to leverage data and trend analysis to identify issues then advise on path to improvement or solutions
? Experience coaching and developing new managers;
? Proactive, takes initiative, able to multi-task and prioritize;
? Constantly striving for professional development, and proven ability to learn fast;
? Flexible and able to cope well with change;
? Fluent in spoken and written English
