This role is to work for the Virtual Reality (VR) side of the Kantar Retail business in Shanghai. We help our clients visualise, test and engage new ideas using Virtual Reality. This role will involve great experience of the industry working onsite with some of the biggest companies in the retail industry.

Training for the role will be done in the UK where the head office for the Virtual Reality side of the business sits.

We are looking for a hard-working, confident, energetic and creative thinker.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Main responsibilities:
? The role will involve working onsite with our client and helping them maximise the use of Virtual Reality within their business.
? The day to day requirement will be to successfully build and deliver projects using 3D Studio max and to convert them for use in our Virtual Reality software
? An important element of this role will be to effectively train the client in the use of our software to support their business
? Using planogram software (software used to arrange products on shelf) to help the client manage their categories (training will be provided to the successful candidate)
? Promoting the use of VR within the clients business and looking for new opportunities.
? Carry out store/product audits which involves photography and dimensioning of retail spaces.
? You may be required to coordinate the outsourcing of project work. This will involve interpreting and creating the brief through to effectively coordinating the successfully delivery of that project.
? Building effective relationships with the client to ensure the smooth running and timely delivery of work.
? Manage the client’s expectations and communicate to a high standard consistently with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
? You will be expected to contribute to our collaborative culture, with a can-do attitude and a positive approach to your work.
? Demonstrate a willingness to learn and a desire and hunger to improve your skills.

Experience/Qualifications (must have)
? High level of 3D Modelling & Texturing skills 3D Studio Max
? High level of Adobe Photoshop skills
? Good Microsoft Office and general IT Skills
? Native Chinese speaker with good English speaking (CET 6).
? A degree in an appropriate course
? 3 years industrial experience


Experience/Qualifications (optional)
? Virtual Reality (realtime) experience is desirable but not essential
? Other Adobe Creative Suite applications such as AfterEffects
? 3D Animation experience
