1. Should be punctual, efficient and above all courteous, assume at all times pleasing and helpful attitude towards each guest and always speaks in a pleasant tone. They Constantly strive to give excellent friendly service in a cheerful way.
2. Ensures that Mise-en-place is completed prior to service and that all stations are properly stocked. Also ensures that the stations are completely stocked for the Next Shift or for the Next day’s Operation
3. Must Have a through product knowledge of all the items in the Menu / drink lists and service procedures. Also need to have a good understanding of people and a genuine interest in pleasing our guests.
4. Must be able to work rapidly and efficiently during peak hours
5. Setting up tables and service station as required prior to service commencing and at the end of service should be done according to the standard.
6. Must exercise correct service techniques at all times. They should never use equipment for any purpose for which it is not intended.
7. Must be flexible with regards to their work schedule and are always committed to the team image. They are punctual as per the schedule and must give adequate notice whenever serious circumstance prevents them from adhering to their schedule.
8. Must understand the importance of Co-operation required between other departments for smooth and efficient operation.
9. Ensures that the pick up of Food & Beverages in Kitchen and Bar is done promptly and efficiently keeping in mind the standards.
10. Maintains, Cleans and properly filled up condiments and cruet – sets e.tc in the respective stations.
11. Maintains a clean and tidy service station and back of the house area throughout the service period.
12. Collect store requisitions and stores them accordingly in the outlet and performs other duties assigned by Captain.
13. He/She is always well groomed and neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform. He/She will never frequent the outlet either on or off duty unless He/She is in her Correct Attire.
14. Clear’s tables after meals and re-set’s the table for the next guest. Maintain a Tidy and properly supplied Side Station.
15. Collect and serve all food and beverage in a friendly and efficient manner according to the guest orders.
16. Respond to and anticipate guests needs.
17. Maintain proper handling of operating equipment

Being an Amari brand concept inspired by the well-loved street food markets of Asia, the 360-square-metre Amaya Food Gallery is an all-day dining venue located within Amari Yangshuo. The Gallery was designed using rich colours and vibrant textures to present food choices from across Asia with interactive open kitchens that will take guests on a journey of gourmet discovery.
