Day to Day Responsibilities:
Lead washer production activities for new technology programs
Lead washer mass production activities and drive process improvements for new technology program
Manage new product qualification and migration to mass production
Drive finisher washer capability improvementSupport new washer development with US-based development team and Asia-based vendors on next generation product requirement
Work with US development team to study fundamental understanding of new washer technology base on next generation coating requirement
Manage new washer technology transfer to China based manufacturing site
Provide project leadership for washer processes integration and migration to mass production – including feasibility studies, planning, project coordination and process documentation.
Provide leadership in problem solving and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term equipment issues and higher level troubleshooting
Provide direction to other technicians, coach junior engineers, and provide guidance to maintenance personnel
Provide general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understand theories and fundamentals), and be capable of leading projects, getting to root cause of issues, and putting permanent solutions in place
Recommend and implement permanent solutions to long term performance issues, and improve existing as well as new technologies
Develop and lead areas of the manufacturing and/or technical roadmap
Introduce new products and technologies
Design and/or specify new equipment or modify existing equipment to continuously improve process performance.
Coordinate installation, debugging and initial operation of new equipment and systems

Qualifications
Education & Experience : BS or Higher; Chemical and Mechanical Engineering

Required Skills & Experience:
2+ years of engineering experience
Fluent English is a must
Basic statistics and reporting capability
Project management and leadership skill
Significant experience communicating effectively with internal and external customers
Track record of delivering results
Broad manufacturing and engineering experiences
Exposure to contract manufacturing
Project and/or manufacturing financial management knowledge

Desired Skills & Experience:
Washer engineering experience is a plus
Process skill in KT, 6-Sigma (DMAIC), DOE and MEE (Manufacturing Engineering Excellence)
Prior work experiences with external washer vendors or washer related projects is a plus
Knowledge of innovation state-gate processes
Green Belt certification
Lean Fundamentals
Experience with glass technology (melting, forming, finishing, coating, etc) 举报 分享
