Bachelor Degree is preferred

Experience:

·5+ years of experience in planning and/or buying role

·Knowledge of SAP/Agile

·Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers to ensure on time arrival of material

·Ability to recommend and implement improvements

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·Experience with networked PC based computer system (MS Office, Spreadsheets, MS Project, Email, MRP systems, GoToMeeting, and Skype)

Job Descriptions:

1) Planning

A) Work with Program Manager to understand technical readiness of Program, BOM status, Equipment Status

B) Work with vendors to understand lead time for all BOM, consumable and capital equipment/tooling items and publish to Project team

C) Work with engineering team, manufacturing and subcontractors to ensure labor and equipment is available as needed

D) Develop a schedule using BOM, labor and equipment status to develop a delivery plan for proof-of-concept prototypes through to beta production

E) Maintain and Update schedule as appropriate

Participate in internal and external meetings to address any issues associated with schedule and material availability issues

2) Buying

A) Work with engineering team to ensure al required documentation and specifications for material are available

B) Develop RFQ package as appropriate and obtain binding quotes

C) Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best delivery and pricing terms

D) Ensure that PO’s are placed in a timely fashion to support committed delivery plan

E) Publish Material Availability Report to Project Team

F) Work closely with vendors to expedite material as required supporting committed project schedule

G) Work with finance team to ensure suppliers are paid in timely fashion

Alert management and SCM teams when escalation is required

3）Supply Chain Management Process

A) Work with SCM team to ensure that material is selected form AVL/ACL when possible

B) Work with SCM team to ensure that new vendors and material is added to system as required

C) Work with engineering team to ensure that BOM is properly loaded into Agile, SAP and other systems as appropriate

Work with SCM team to ensure that a cost roadmap for material is validated through to production
