Mobile Variant release engineers responsibility areas:
· Releasing software packages to factories
o Multiple steps here ( workflow, creations tools, "factory" testing, etc)
· Software updates
· Errors creation and follow-up
· Simlock knowhow and helping with Simlock writing / unlocking
· Factory testing knowhow competence
· E-sample creation
· Certificate creation and verification
· Resigning images
· Workflow "coordination" and following to some extent

Competence thoughts / requirements:
· Familiar with normal Microsoft office tools (outlook, excel, work etc)
o Normal computer handling skills (install, uninstall, configurations) "tech-savvy" mind
· Logistic thinking (BSc or MSc from computer science etc but not limited)
· Team player and social (needed to communicate quite much with other teams)
· Normal tasks:
o Engineer level (can be learned quite easily)
o Concentrations on basic releasing activities
· Error solving / handling, Simlock, Factory testing:
o Senior level (needs experience and detail oriented handling)
o Handles more demanding and problem solving tasks
· Quality / verification experience is plus
o Some tasks are direct testing activities (done with Phone UI mostly)
· No coding experience needed necessary but some basics would help in some areas
