Role
The People Manager will be responsible for managing the team of Training and Competency professionals and develop a framework to support the Operation to achieve its business goals and deliver a competent workforce. They will have a demonstrable track record of having successfully managed a similar function in an operations environment. They will also be responsible for the site maintenance and will liaise with the existing KDC facilities organisation to manage the engagement site.
Qualifications / Experience
-Min 3 yrs in an operational environment, where at least 2 years have been spent in similar People, Training & Competency management functions
-Knowledge of site and facilities management
-Proven ability to work with other functions, including cross-divisional and external suppliers and Training professionals to achieve business objectives
-Strong training and presentation skills
-Demonstrated ability to conduct and embed ‘train the trainer’ activities
Deliverables
-Effective leadership of the team including line management responsibilities
-Performance manage and develop individuals, maximising talent
-Identify staff training needs and arrange coaching as required to ensure all staff achieve and maintain competency level throughout engagement
-Profitability of business by controlling costs, losses and margins
-Deliverables in Line with the Ops Score Cards or Plans
-Satisfactory Audit reports on suppliers and Managed Services
-Accredited workforce within reasonable timeframes post training completion
-Maintaining staff competency levels throughout engagement
