工作职责Responsibilities
? Participate as a member of cross-functional teams in supporting product development and the transition of new products into production. Participate as a team member in the development of new processes, fixtures and tools in support of new products to assure quality, consistency and efficiency.
? Recommend, design and develop improvements and modifications to existing products.
? Participate in the evaluation of product complaints and returns. Develop test protocols to simulate actual product use and coordinate the activities required to fabricate test parts and complete testing.
? Work with PDE during design review to incorporate manufacturability into product designs.
? Administer the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.
? Incorporate a strong working knowledge of production processes, including wood, metal, sofa making, finishing/painting processes and product assembly.
? Independently research, review and recommend strategic changes on existing products, processes and/or equipment to improve process quality, consistency and efficiency.
? Participate as requested in manufacturing problem solving and lead the testing and validation of corrective measures.
? Participate as requested in the design, installation, and debugging of assembly tooling and equipment.

? 3 – 5 years of product development support experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing.
? Must have demonstrated project management skills and experience working on multiple projects while maintaining project schedules and priorities.
? Knowledge of testing, safety and legal requirements
? A team player with professional integrity, strong initiative and commitment to achieving company goals.
? Strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
? Knowledge of CAD software
