Job Summary
Responsible for the development and expansion of sales and profits for assigned customers to achieve company objectives. Manages all elements of the commercial sales process with assigned customer base. Develops sales strategies and tactics in support of the GHC segment business plan and then executes on those plans.
Develops customer plans and new business opportunities to ensure growth targets are achieved.
Strives for accurate customer forecasting and ensure orders are received and processed on time to maintain consistent demand and line loadings, while achieving high customer satisfaction.
Coordinates product development activities and leads the customer qualification/approval process.
Optimizes company profitability and builds partnership relationships with customers.
Cooperates with other regions for global account management and market info sharing.
Primary Responsibilities (Task, Duties Performed and Essential Functions)
1. Drives sales and profit growth for assigned key accounts. Achieves or surpasses budgeted sales and EBITDA goals.
2. Develops new accounts and opportunities and utilizes the sale pipeline to effectively manage and gain new business.
3. Establishes and enhances effective customer work relationships based on openness, honesty, and trust that build customer-preferred status for PGI GHC.
4. Supports Marketing and R&D teams in the identification and development of differentiated products and services.
5. Interfaces with R&D to transmit required product attributes based on stated customer and end-user needs and provides support during product development process.
6. Provides market intelligence to marketing and senior management to ensure proactive assessment of threats and opportunities and relevant inputs into strategic and business planning discussions
7. Negotiates pricing, volume, and terms per the approved pricing policies of GHC with customers that maximize company financial and strategic objectives.
8. Helps develop annual sales budget with input from Sales Management and Marketing.
9. Provides information needed for accurate volume and sales forecasts to Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing, Sales Management and Marketing.
10. Supports the identification of business opportunities utilizing PGI unique technologies in each region.
11. Responsible to keep account receivables current for assigned customers and regions.
Other duties as required.
Physical Requirements
? Light Work: Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc. are occasionally required.
? Occasionally: Job involves travel (overnight, domestic and some internationally) up to 50% of the time.
Education / Work Experience
Education (Degree/Major) Bachelor degree preferred in Business major or technical
Work Experience Above 5 years working experience in MNC/ Fortune 500 companies
Minimum of 5 years key accounts management related experience in B2B.
Knowledge and experience in medical industry is preferred
Language Business English
