Job Holder: Product Engineering Dept
Job Title: Product Engineer (Lighting)
Based at: Gaoming
Responsible to: Engineering Manager
Responsibilities - general
1. Improve the quality of existing products if need be
2. Provide the technical support and solutions to both the customers and the suppliers.
3. Issue ECN for Engineering change
4. Issue Product Improvement Tracker for product improvement
5. Verify the AI and PI
6. Monitor and audit the production process.
7. Assist suppliers and other technicians to set up quality standards, which can become a benchmark.
8. Lead Continue Improvements projects
9. New technology roll out
10. Writing of technical documents and SOP, support the development of production drawing
11. New tooling and fixtures deployment
12. Work with suppliers to set up efficient manufacture processes
Competencies/Skills required
Must
1. Good knowledge about statistical methods and tools,
2. Good manufacturing skills,
3. Physical analysis methods
4. Computer-aided design and simulation programs
5. Strong analytic work methodology and problem solving skills
6. Project management skills
7. Proactively manage and communicate completion of project schedules.
8. Exhibit good team member and team leadership skills.
9. Good knowledge about CE, UL, CCC and SAA standard.
10. Be able to read, explain and use all technical specification
11. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production structure in furnish industry
Prefer
1. IE,SPC and FMEA experience preferred
Education/Experience
Must
1. B.S. degree in Industrial Design, Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.
2. English: CET-4 or equivalent at least
3. Minimum of 3years experience in lighting
