Job Holder: Halo Support Services
Job Title: Planner
Based at: Gaoming, Foshan
Responsible to: Order Management Manager
Purpose of Role: Plan overall demand and supply

Responsibilities – general
? Work with related owner to make sure realistic forecast is available.
? Balance end-user demand with supply and resources, use demand data to drive factories’ cap planning, inventory management and purchasing etc.
? Monitor forecast accuracy rate, delivery lead time, inventory data, OTD etc. performance, and work with related owner for improvement.

Responsibilities – specific to
? Work with sales or IT to get forecast data.
? Analyze forecast vs. actual order intake vs. actual shipment, find out the gap, and work with related owner for improvement.
? Monthly update reasonable forecast (by range, material etc.) to factories.
? Regularly review with factory to ensure their production capacity and material supply can meet demand or forecast requirement.
? Work with factories to understand their production capacity (worker capacity, machine capacity, workshop space capacity etc.)
? Work with factories to understand their raw material supply status (material history usage, demand, purchasing L/T, sub-supplier capacity, stock, open order supply date etc.)
? Work with factories to reserve certain capacity for urgent order or unexpected production issue.
? Corporate with factories to well utilize their production line.
? Raw material & Finished good inventory control.
? Ensure factories are aligned on the production schedule for same container shipment.
? Review with factories to understand their production cycle time, W/O due date, raw material ready date to ensure there is no gap between factories’ confirmed order ready date and actual production plan.
? Work with factories to understand production L/T and reflect the latest information into order system.

Competencies/Skills required
Must
? Responsible, careful, patient, sensitive to data
? Good at reading, writing, speaking English.
? Excellent at Microsoft tools especially on excel.
? Good interpersonal and communication skills.
? Good at organizing and planning skill
? Ability to improve process
Prefer

? Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Education/Experience
? College or above
? 3-5 years of planning working experience in Furniture Company.
