? Engineering or technical graduate
? At least 3 years working in quality assurance
? Language skills: Native language and good English


Responsibility

1 Project work
? Cooperation in transposing customer-specific requirements into AL target specifications, with particular
regard to manufacturing and inspection capability at Automotive Lighting and along the entire supply chain.
? Compilation and monitoring of a project-specific QM plan on the basis of CP 300 in agreement with the
Project Manager.
? Monitoring implementation of product, process and project-related quality requirements.
o Cooperation and assessment of traffic light charts drawn up in the project team.
o Monitoring of activities and actions performed as part of sub-projects, e.g. control units including
software.
? Comprehensive quality work within the project, for example:
o Active participation in the concept release taking into consideration lessons learned from predecessor
projects.
o Cooperation in risk analyses ( e.g. FMEA).
o Cooperation in the control plan (prototype, pilot series and series).
o Assessment of development and test planning for product and process development.
o Cooperation in the stipulation of special characteristics.
o Compilation of test plans for Quality Assurance.
o Planning the required measuring and monitoring equipment for Quality Assurance including its
validation and release both internally and vis a vis the customer.
o Determination of limiting samples for visual defects.
o Analysis of dimensional measurement results for the achievement of dimensional stability.
o Planning and execution of preventive quality assurance with customers and suppliers.
o Initial release of parts, products and processes CP 518.
o Coordination and presentation at customer quality audits.
o Compilation of reports, analyses and statistics PPF (initial sample report), ISIR, PSW, PPAP,
IMDS in accordance with customer requirements.
o Planning training programs for quality employees including customer service.
o Quality responsibility for samples supplied to the customer up until SOP. Compilation of sample test
reports to the extent required by the customer, where applicable clarification of non-conformance in
agreement with Model Building and the Project Manager.
? Monitoring all new projects occurring in the plant and proactive advice to project teams and management
regarding possible project, product or procedure-related risks.
o Active notification of affected functions regarding possible risks.
o Participation in PCC meetings.
o Participation in customer and supplier quality meetings.
? Processing of quality complaints, analyses and statements through to SOP.
? Coordination of project tasks in linear organization.
o Planning and control of project handover from QMP to QMO (launch phase).
o Participating if required in approval for new suppliers.
o Participating if required in process audits on suppliers' premises.
o Planning and execution of audits (customer, internal etc.).

2 Metrology
? Planning and further development of metrology in the plant.
? Cooperation in the centrally controlled metrology working group.
? Further development of measuring and monitoring technology in production processes.
? Planning and supervision of measuring and monitoring devices in the plant.
? Execution of dimensional accuracy tests with 3D metrology systems for product audits.

3 Continuous improvement within the sphere of Responsibility of QMP.
? Planning and cooperation in the introduction of new DP solutions.
? Development of preventive quality strategies in agreement with central ALH/QM-P for long-term
improvement of product, process and project-related quality.

4 Personnel (direct reports)
? Definition of required tasks, fields of responsibility and competence.
? Technical supervision and coordination of employee tasks.
o Ensuring adherence to work regulations.
o Execution of personnel-related administrative functions
o Induction of new employees, compilation of induction program.
? Execution of employee assessments, agreement of targets. Promotion of employee qualification,
assessment of the effectiveness of completed training measures.

5 Other tasks
? Technical representation of the QM Department Manager in questions of preventive quality assurance.
? Other tasks as assigned by the superior leader


Authority
? Proposal and objection entitlement in all quality-related questions.
? Initiation of internal technical complaints and quarantining non-conforming products up to SOP.
? Definition of product quality with customers and suppliers.
? Initial release of internal and external production material and production processes within the scope of
project work.
? Assessment / agreement of product / process FMEAs as regards their formally correct application.
? Release of the control plan.
? Submission of test reports (e.g. PPF, PSW) to the customer.
? Signatory rights as laid down by plant-specific regulations.
