Job Summary

This position will need to provide business/technical support to all outsourcing business, including extrusion coating, glue lamination, ultrasonic bonding and other nonwoven related products.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Support QA function to establish vendor quality management system, team work with related functions on vendor’s qualification, on site audit as well as vendor performance evaluation.

2. Assist PD to coordinate the sample trials and follow up on the sample status with vendors

3. Provide support to PD, QA and Operation on the product qualifications for PQ runs. Drive and work with related to set up right product specifications. Review and manage product specification signed with Vendors exactly match the spec. PGI signed with customers. Get vendors trained on spec. and make sure vendors fully understand product spec. request and implement no deviation. Work with QA, PD and vendors to modify the specification if needed based on customers update request.

4. Work with QA to solve complains, have capability to do investigation for root cause analysis, drive vendors on solutions for product quality continues improvement .

5. Visit vendors and monitor the vendors’ process control when running PGI orders before shipment.

6. Work with vendors to figure out the best loading capacity for finished product and monitor the container loading for the initial shipments. Drive and manage vendors on improvement for cost saving.

7. Follow up with vendors on orders shipment on-time delivery, feedback and update the related functions of the shipments plan.

Education

Bachelor degree or above. At least 5 years or above of experience in film, glue, extrusion coating or glue lamination field.

Work Experience

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development or technical service.

2. Have good knowledge and skills on nonwoven laminated filed. Experience in film, glue, extrusion coating or glue lamination industry or its downstream or upstream industry is preferred.

3. Have knowledge on manufacturing technical service and quality system

1. Technical: Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

2. Team Oriented: Ability to work effectively with other team members (PGI and suppliers) at all levels of the organization to achieve target objectives.

3. Integrity: Demonstrates honesty and the highest ethical standards. Avoids conflict of interest. Respect PGI’s ethical standards as described in the PGI Code of Conduct.
