Qualification:

1.10 years and above working experience in MNC with matrix organization; with regional exposure
2.8 years HR related working experiences (staffing, training, performance management, C&B and employee communication) in multinational companies with a minimum of 5 years HR generalist management role.
3.Experience using Lean principles and/or process improvement strategies
4.Experience in partnering with functional areas and business units to build or improve organizational effectiveness
5.Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures required
6.High level of interpersonal and customer service skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
7.Ability to accurately select and clearly communicate messages for organizational success
8.Ability to handle difficult situations and arrive at an agreement amongst diverse groups of stakeholders
9.Ability to sell ideas to a group of customers using logical explanations and effective negotiation skills
10.Ability to effectively present in front of large audiences and senior level Management
11.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access and HR management systems


Job Scope:

As a regional HRBP for Commercial teams and other supporting functions, this position supports regional HR lead in working with those functions (Commercial, Finance & IS, Procurement, HR and Admin.) to understand their needs and to integrate HR strategy with business strategy and support business growth by implementing people plan. Especially provide efficient support to Commercial Teams on its organizational success including structure review, talent acquisition, development and retention. This position also has responsibility for effectively implementing all HR programs in those functions.
As a regional employee communication focal, this position supports regional HR lead in developing, integrating and implementing corporate and regional employee communication strategies and initiatives to promote PGI’s core values and employee value proposition, support key business initiatives and improve employee engagement.
1.Review and analyze Asia Commercial and other non-operation functions’ business request by attending regular functional meetings, specific business workshops, individual communications and etc. to identify people related trends and issues.
2.Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added HR services and solutions in improving employee performance, retention, development and employee engagement.
3.Work closely with leaders to ensure HR initiatives/programs are implemented effectively within the function.
4.Support regional HR lead on organization design and structure, workforce planning and succession planningto improve organization effectiveness.
5.Provide coaching and consultative support to leaders on talent, performance management, change and peoplemanagement issue.
6.Conduct direct recruiting and employment activities for Asia Commercial team and other non-operational functions to ensure the timely placement and onboarding process of qualified candidates.
7.Assist regional HR lead on executing corporate HR strategy, policies and programs;
8.Develop, implement and improve programs, policies, procedures and controls with HR members regarding key HR metrics (recruiting, training, performance management, turnover, etc.)
9.Provide internal consulting services regarding the interpretation and application of HR policies and processes.
10.Participate in developing best practices and implementing policies and processes as applicable.
11.Ensure compliance with employment-related laws and company policy, identify or reduce HR related legal risks.
12.Partner with Asia Commercial Lead and Global HR in determining and implementing selling skills and marketing training. This can include corporate initiatives and Asia-specific initiatives as needed.
13.Drive GGI/Regional matrix integration efforts through team building and collaboration. Partner with GGI HR, Asia Commercial Lead, GGI team including marketing, and Asia sales team in creating an enterprise view of commercial efforts.
14.Source/recruit high-caliber key account managers and partner with Commercial Lead in on-boarding and development of key account managers.
15.Support on-going up-skilling efforts of commercial team and Global Commercial Council.
16.Work as the regional communication focal in managing all regional level internal communication information and executing corporate employee communication strategy and programs.
17.Drive regional strategic and general communications including intranet activities, town hall meetings and newsletters
18.Participate in Global Communications Council, representing needs of PGI Asia
19.Create and drive the strategy to promote “one PGI” thinking in Asia
20.Propose and design communications strategy to link PGI Asia with corporate, Europe and Americas regions 21.Develop and implement annual employee engagement improvement action plan.
