POSITION OVERVIEW
The role is expected to ensure consistency, continuity and effectiveness of the demand and supply planning processes. The individual is expected to develop and review the planning processes in order to ensure that practice is best in class and relevant to the business
The Demand and Supply Planning Analyst reports to the AP Demand and Supply Planning Process Owner.
Key Objectives:
1. Implement the AP Supply & Operations Planning process specifically the monthly demand consensus, weekly and monthly plant planning and regional demand and supply balance and handshake.
2. Partner with the demand and supply analysts in implementing the demand and supply processes in order to achieve an end to end supply chain. Continuously find ways to improve process tools in order to achieve lean objectives and reduce cycle times.
3. Establish collaborative working relationships with Commercial, Planning, Plant Operations, Logistics, Finance, Sourcing and Business Management to insure the process inputs and outputs are consistent with the functions needs and objectives.
4. Perform supply chain network and project analysis. Monitors product scale-up projects. Lead planning related projects.
Key Skills Required:
? Experience in demand and supply planning processes.
? Thorough understanding of S&OP process
? Advanced numerate, analytical, and critical thinking skills
? Advanced ability to synthesize and filter inputs from multiple sources
? Advanced ability to identify logical or methodological inconsistency
? Strong collaborative skills.
? Excellent communication skills.
?
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? 3 years of combined demand and supply planning experience with strong exposure to Sales, Marketing, Finance &/or Supply Chain functions
? An undergraduate degree in management engineering or statistics and other comparable qualifications
? Demonstrated understanding of Supply Chain and Business Management
? Effective written/oral communication with different functions within the Asia Pacific organization
? Excellent analytical skills.
? Proficient computer skills, multilingual for better communications in the region.
? Ability to travel frequently overseas as required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
? 5 years of demand and supply experience preferably as a regional demand and supply planner/analyst with exposure strong exposure to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations functions.
? Good understanding of HB Fullers products and markets (customers)
? Effective written/oral communications with ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
? Excellent analytical and computer skills.
? Language skills (English and Mandarin)
? Experience in SAP and demand/supply planning software.
