As a Director of academic at Bestlearning, you will lead and manage a teaching team to ensure high academic quality and production efficiency and support the Center Director to drive for customer satisfaction and student retention in one center catered for English learners from 2-12 years old.

The role:
The Director of academic plays a key role in Bestlearning. You are an academic leader among the teachers; you are an operational manager of the daily production; you are a supporter of the Center Director and sales and service supervisors; you are also a coordinator of regional and national educational events.

Responsibilities:
1, Deliver regular lessons and demonstration classes to the highest standards.
2, Ensure effective scheduling of classes, extra-curricular activities and events.
3, Arrange school induction for new teachers; lead regular teacher training workshops.
4, Assess academic staff’s performance and provide constructive feedback together with developmental plans.
5, Work closely with the Center Director and other supervisors to ensure inter-departmental co-operation and effective communication.
6, Update and consult Regional Production Manager to guarantee smooth product implementation and overall academic operations.
7, Assist Product Development in testing and implementing new Bestlearning products and courses.

Requirements:
1, Master degree in TESOL, English Education, Educational Management & Leadership or relevant majors.
2, Minimum 5 years ELT experience preferably in the CLT based classroom to kids & teens.
3, 2-3 years experienced in teacher training and supervision, school academic operation and management under an international environment.
4, Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
5, Self-motivated; detail oriented; flexible; able to work under pressure.
6, Availability for working evenings and weekends.
7, Be familiar with the MS office software.
