Job Title: Sourcing Leader
Based at: Gaoming, Foshan
Report to: Sourcing Manager
Purpose of Role: Responsible for managing and directing all sourcing activities as related to assigned product segment(s); key interface between segment and global sourcing to ensure strategies and needs are represented

Responsibilities - general
1. Lead sourcing team to identify and develop potential and qualified suppliers for assigned commodities
2. Lead commodity projects through the sourcing process and coordinate with multi-functional teams to reach sourcing targets
3. Integrate the PD, Engineering and Sourcing objectives in the execution of assigned segment including promoting standardization across projects for supplied product
4. Develop and maintain solid and reliable relationships with suppliers to meet required standards
5. Report the sourcing status/progress

Responsibilities – specific to
1. Participate in sourcing process from brief to signing off for assigned projects
2. Visit and screen suppliers for comparison to create sourcing benchmark for cost and quality analysis
3. Audit suppliers to ensure the compliance with HALO standard
4. Develop and maintaining of fully qualified and compliant supply base
5. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
6. Make action plan base on sourcing strategy to expand sources for defined commodities in China, Asia and overseas
7. Information collection and analysis to benchmark the conditions suppliers provides
8. Periodically report to sourcing manager and update progress to operation teams

Competencies/Skills required
Must
1. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be fluent in speaking and writing English, Cantonese and Mandarin
2. Have good knowledge of sourcing process and cost analysis
3. Excellent organizational skills, planning and analytical talents
4. Advanced levels of Microsoft Office
5. Good coordination, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills
6. Self-motivated, well organized, observant, attention to details and customer focus
7. Able to work both independently and in teams and under pressure with tight schedule
8. Willing to travel domestically and internationally
Prefer
? CET6 or TEM8

Education/Experience
Must
1. Bachelor degree or above in Business, Material Management or other relative disciplines
2. 5 years of working experience in sourcing home decoration industry, especially upholstery, furniture, bag or sundries and at least 1 year in managerial role in a sizable manufacturing or trading company
Prefer
? Working experience in MNC is preferred
