Job Title: Junior PD Executive (Accessories)
Based at: Gaoming, Foshan
Responsible to: PD Manager (Lighting, Bedding & Accessories)
Purpose of Role: Handling accessories PD
Responsibilities - general
1. Handling development of new accessories in a wide range
2. Take care of the current accessories work
3. Accessories documentation
4. Upload and update accessories information in system
Responsibilities – Specific to
1. Work closely with design team and different workshops to develop different new category of accessories
2. Follow up prototype and make sure first sample made and ready as request
3. Take care of the current accessories related work in product development
4. Maintain and improve current data base of accessories
5. To provide technical data or other information of accessories to other department
6. Upload new production information to PDM, and provide product information to GPDB and IBS
7. Others that may occur
Competencies/Skills required
Must
1. Both fluency in oral and written English
2. Good communication skill and delivery focused.
3. Proactive and responsible
4. Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
5. Good skills in problem solving, negotiation and record tracking
6. Open, hardworking, well organized, service & result-oriented, flexible and can work effectively in team environment
7. Willing to be based in GM office
8. Efficient in Microsoft Office software
Prefer
1. Familiar with US and UK accessories market is preferred.
Education/Experience
Must
1. College's degree or above
2. 2 years’ experience in accessories for home furnishing and decoration, work record and achievement traceable
3. Good product knowledge in home decoration products, such as glassware, ceramic, garment, resin product, cushion, etc.
4. Basic product development skills
Prefer
1. CAD skills is preferred
2. Working experience in MNC is preferred
