Job Title: Costing Leader
Based at: Gaoming, Foshan
Responsible to: Costing Manager
Purpose of Role: Carry out cost management for assigned projects

Responsibilities - general
1. Lead costing team for product costing, benchmarking, cost negotiation and cost reduction for assigned projects in different product category or supplier
2. Assisted target costing in product development phase
3. Price negotiation, price integrity verification and benchmarking
4. Evaluate manufactures’ costing practices
5. Examine any costs that seem contrary to past experience
6. Cost review and monitoring during product development
7. Monitor specification changes to ensure cost-effective
8. Prepare regular analytical reports including cost analysis, predict supplier trend and costing variation in the market

Responsibilities – specific to
1. Assist costing manager to set up costing process/function
2. Communicate with PD leader for wastage information to provide costing advise in the stage of PD

Competencies/Skills required
Must
1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be fluent in speaking and writing English, Cantonese and Mandarin
2. Good analytical skill in costing function
3. Good experience in BOM
4. Proficient in MS office skills and database
5. Strong organizational, coordination, negotiation and interpersonal skills
6. Self-motivated, well organized, observant, attention to details and customer focus
7. Able to work both independently and in teams and under pressure with tight schedule
Prefer
1. TEM8
2. Knowledge in manufacturing process or product is an advantage

Education/Experience
Must
1. Bachelor degree or above in business/finance/cost management or any other relative disciplines
2. 4 years’ experience in home decoration and at least 3 years in costing, 1 year in a managerial role in a sizable manufacturing or trading company
Prefer
1. Working experience in manufacturing MNC is preferred
2. With product costing experience from conceptual stage to production
