OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-Time Lean Solutions Project Manager, you will implement Fastenal's National and Key Regional Accounts customer sites. This person will be responsible for managing implementation projects from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Managing customer implementation projects from start to finish.
2. National and Key Regional Accounts - holding an initial customer implementation meeting, developing timelines and Gantt charts, cross-referencing, sourcing, establishing min/max's and inventory prep, VMI and Onsite set ups.
3. Performing process mapping and assisting sales proposals.
4. Conducting account retention audits (LSBR) and assisting with quarterly business reviews.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

1. A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements
2. Prior sales/account management work experience
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
4. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
5. Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
6. Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
7. Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills
8. Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
9. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
10. Ability and Willingness to travel 50% or more with some overnights and weekends required. 
11. Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh between 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
12. Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Possess or working towards a degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Distribution OR relevant industry experience.
2. Experience or education with Project Management, Lean or Continuous Improvement focus.
