Process Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing pharmaceutical processes for a new / existing pharmaceutical facility.

Process Engineers are required to work with people all across the manufacturing system including R&D, production, validation, management and vendors.

Typical duties and responsibilities are:

· Process design, including develop equipment specification, data sheetetc.. This will require to use various tools and simulation software

· Participate in procurement activities, including preparation of technical document, vendor clarification, and carry out technical evaluation

· Vendor coordination in equipment installation

· Risk assessments (safety, environment impact) of the equipment and processes being used

· Monitoring of equipment – including regular testing and ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out

· Oversight of processes and working to maintain optimization of the production line

· Assisting Process Technicians in troubleshooting in the event of a problem

· Data collection, interpretation and report writing

· Presentation of data and reports to senior colleagues and management

· Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure both efficiency and quality remain high

· Budget responsibilities

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Biotech/ Pharmaceutical MNC firms with responsibilities in the direct or related fields. Hands on experience in unit operations. College Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, PharmaceuticaEngineeingfrom top ranking Universities with strong Bilingual (Eng/Mandarin) capabilities and global perspective. Understand and familiar with relates regulatory requirements such as SFDA, FDA, EU etc.
