KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· As customer quality inspector at the iRobot contract manufacturer (CM) factory, conduct Pre-shipment inspection for each order

· Co-work with CM QA/iRobot planner/Manufacturing Quality team (MQ) to plan pre-shipment inspection priority to screen potential quality defect, and avoid the shipping delay

· Generate the inspection report at daily base

· Support iRobot MQ team for the NPI quality check and generate the NPI report

· Real time feedback quality issue/finding to CM for containment, root cause study, correction, and continuous improvement.

· Real time report to iRobot MQ for major and critical defects/findings to take quick response and drive correction quickly

· Create eCAR to CM per alignment with iRobot MQ, for the Major issue/batch issue detected by PSA inspection.

· Support iRobot MQ team quality for specific quality initiative as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

· College degree or above, major in electronics/electrical is preferred

· Good English writing

· Good skills to use excel/word/power point etc. office software

· Self- motivated; work independently, and teamwork ability

· Good interpersonal communication skills with CM front line and iRobot team

· Inspection experience in EMS industry and consuming electronics product is preferred.
