Responsibility:

1. a member of Quantitative Biology team, the incumbent will partner with discovery functional teams to support oncology drug discovery by in vitro efficacy evaluation of small molecule drug candidates via high-throughput biochemical and/or biophysical screening as well as in-dept mechanism of action (MOA) investigation.

3. Develop biochemical and/or biophysical assays on novel drug targets, and execute assay evaluation, optimization and troubleshooting.
4. Design, execute and optimize in vitro screening/testing workflow, and perform assay data and visualization, and present assay results and lead recommendations.
5. Plan and document results of routine assays and manage electronic assay reports.
6. Manage lab safety and operation.  

Required qualifications

1. MS (3 years + experience) or Ph.D in enzymology, biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, molecular biology, immunology or related biological disciplines.
2. Fluency in data analysis, visualization and experience in kinetic data analysis software (GraphPad, KaleidoGraph, Origin etc).
3. Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications

1. Demonstrated qualifications in enzyme assay development, structure & activity relationship (SAR). Drug discovery experience are preferred.
2. Knowledge and Experience in enzyme inhibitor modality, mechanism and kinetics.
