I. JOB SUMMARY
You’re pioneering the commercial activity of AMS Group, right from China Mainland, towards a client base established overseas and having the desire to realize their product in the Greater Bay Area. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a highly passioned individual to set forth development strategies for our company and progressively taking market shares in line with our company vision.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Develop local sales that are in line with the strategic development of the company
+ Perform a market analysis and identify potential business-matching opportunities with the business scope of AMS Group.
+ Take part (or take the lead) in communication towards potential client and prospect
+ Accountable on delivering a proposal that fits right the original request under the form of an official and approved quotation.
+ Arrange and maintain an agenda of visits to partners that have been identified to offer leads, but also business prospect visits.
+ Define a commercial action plan to be reviewed with the management.
+ Follow-up of the enquiries and work along with the Sourcing, Quality and Engineering work cells. Ultimate goal is to have RFQ information in an accurate and timely fashion.
+ Write up of quotation and have them approved by the Managing Director for ultimate negotiation until a decisive outcome from the client is obtained.
+ Issue and manage content that illustrate perfectly our ability to realize product, targeted at our potential customers.
+ Work jointly with purchasing team to handle the sample quotations and assess the supplier’s engineering capability.
+ Develop (or integrate into our ERP Odoo) some kind of simple "Customer Relationship Management" system that can be useful for the development and follow-up of leads.
III. EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
+ Excellent negotiator and business minded person. Should possess a clear understanding what is at stake in terms of business and translate that into a proposal that work for client, AMS and vendor
+ Entrepreneurial spirit. Have the will to score sales just like if it would be his own business.
+ Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and/or commercial school with a keen interest into the manufacturing sector and product realization. Affinity with Plastics, Molds, Machining, Printing, Packaging is considered as a plus.
+ Experience in a commercial role or an experience in “content management” is considered as an asset.
+ Familiar with manufacturing and experience in a commercial role assembly processes for commodities such as Plastic and Metal.
+ Result and solution oriented with clear client focus.
+ Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate other core departments to complete multiple tasks.
+ Good English & Mandarin conversational skills.
+ Open minded, adept of the “Never Give Up” mentality and quick learning personality.
+ Reports to Managing Director in Foshan.
