I. JOB SUMMARY

RFQ for all plastic toolings and parts and make price comparison & analysis as well as some packaging material.

Plus NPI samples follow up.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RFQ; Price control; Supplier development & management; NPI/NPD; Sampling & Quality follow-up)

+ Collect quotations and negotiate with supplier for new inquiry from client for all plastic parts and local production tooling.

+ Do price comparison, cost analysis and recommendation on supplier selection towards Project manager, Product engineer and QA staff.

+ New supplier development and audit: Aim at obtaining positive & sustainable relationships with suppliers.

+ Manage the agreed quotation and datasheet with Finance and Purchasing department and update relevant documents in time.

+ Participate in NPI/NPD process.

+ Accurately understand customer requirements and communicate with suppliers accurately and effectively.

+ Ensure supplier quality and follow up material quality issues.

+ Sample sourcing and verifying OQC, IQC reports.

+ Work in liaison between supplier, QA, Engineering (in Foshan) & European colleagues based in Holland.

III. OTHER REQUIREMENTS (Education; Language; Experience; Knowledge; Skills; Personality; Working attitude)

+ Bachelor degree, preferably in Manufacturing Engineering, more than 5 years working experience in a similar position.

+ Knowledge of Plastics, TPE and rubber commodities, Molds & Tooling, Printing & Packaging available technologies.

+ Great analytical competences. Demonstrates cost control capabilities and able to interpret vendor’s offering and true value.

+ Familiarity with the NPI/NPD process, able to work with QA, Product Engineer based in Foshan and Project managers based in Holland.

+ Fluent in English and Mandarin.

+ Strong teamwork spirit, while having capability to be effective/efficient to work independently.

+ Good communication skill and strong negotiation ability.

+ Open-minded and can work under high pressure.

+ Familiar with computer and office software, knowledge of a 3D Design platform is considered as an asset.
